An orbital mind control laser (OMCTL) is a kind of orbital laser specialized for mind control applications, used for both wide-scale suppression of inconvenient behaviour and targeted, selective modifications. By symmetry, orbital mind control lasers can operate in reverse mode, in which they read out mental contents rather than writing to them: this is essential to standard read-modify-write operations.
